locations for the music video

Camden:

This location was used in the shots where Alex the singer and Caleb the bass player meet in the video, we used this as the location looks very creative and we were also able to use a tracking shot of the two meeting and crossing the bridge.

London Eye:

This is featured in the time lapse at the start and showcases the location of the video as well as the place where the band grew up.

National Theatre:

This location was used when Caleb the bass player is walking around London. It shows how he is progressing through his journey and getting closer to his goal. There is a mix of natural/concrete locations which add to the idea that the band is organic and to their hipster/indie style. This is also a popular location so therefore it is easily recognisable.

 Primrose Hill:

This location is used at the end of the video, it is where the band run up the hill at the end as they go off to chase their dreams. The warmth and sense of being outside in the sun adds to the bands appeal and makes the group more relatable.
Studio:

This location is not in the video as we decided not to include the studio shots however we did film in a studio as we wanted to see what footage of the band together as a group would look like.

 Thames:

This location is also featured in the time lapse at the start of the video, again it establishes the location of the video.

The Barbican:

This is the main location used in the video, it is where the main singer Alex is singing also of his parts of the song and also has the most time in the video spent. This location offered various shots and camera angles for us to use as well as being in the heart of London. This was used as the building had a hard and gritty feel to it that we felt represented our band well. The area is also a hip/indie area and therefore fits in with the bands style. It is also a large open space that creates lots of opportunities for filming.
