Influence on our artists star image

The drummer:

Comparison between Ben, our drummer and Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters:

The drummer of our band was influenced by Dave Grohl. From a young age Ben was a fan of Foo Fighters, when we had Ben in the band we decided that he needed to have the image of a rock drummer, this idea was then changed to adjust to a more indie rock drummer. This is why Ben looks to be more well dressed than the rest of the band, he matches the look of Grohl in the photo above as he is well dressed in a concert. This gives the drummer a look of being more mature and intelligent.

The singer:

Comparison between Alex, our singer and Alex Turner:

The look we wanted the singer to have was exactly what Alex provided. By looking at other rock singers such as Alex Turner, we were able to choose an ideal look for an indie singer, this is why Alex's hair is a key feature of his appearance. Alex's hair is his main feature as this draws the target audience in. As well as the leather jacket that Alex wears to add to his rocker image however we needed him to also appear indie and young which is why he is wearing a shirt and tie under the leather jacket.

The guitarist:

Comparison between George, our guitarist and Jerry Cantrell:

George has the ideal image of a guitarist in a rock band. His long hair gives him a rocker vibe which is essential to the band. We had him wear the more casual clothes to add to their authentic and indie look. Overall it is clear that George adds to the star image as the main feature of any rock band is a guitarist who has the long fairest rocker appearance which was essential for our group. We had George wear a leather jacket in the music video to cement his rocker look and this adds to the band's organic look.

The bass player:

Comparison between Caleb, or bass player and Paul McCartney from The Beatles:

We wanted Caleb to have a hipster look for the band. By having a member of the group that look particularly indie allows us to attract more of our target audience. As seen by Paul, the glasses add a more casual an indie look to a bass player, along with them wearing more formal attire with the shirt and belt that make the bass player appear more mature. It is clear as well that the added addition of Caleb wearing a beanie makes him look further like a band member and therefore makes his star image an integral addition to the group.
