When looking for ideas for our video, we came across the video Faded by Alan Walker. The video is about a man walking around looking for something, possibly sufficient to his life. The colours used in the video, along with the song choice which had a slow-paced tempo gave the video a dull look and feel. If the video is sped up then it makes the song slightly more upbeat. This showed us that the mood of a song can change if it is a faster song or a slow song sped up. The idea that this song before was a man, sad and searching is now on an adventure is remarkable. This changes everything about the video as the locations seem more appropriate as the song is more upbeat. The use of slow motion is also effective, so it depends on which the target audience prefers.
